Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is opening an intimate new lounge with inventive cocktails and a menu of shareable plates inside the historic Worthington Inn.
The Worthington Inn has been around for nearly 200 years, and now there’s a new reason to spend an evening inside. Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is opening The Wolf’s Den, an intimate cocktail lounge tucked into the historic property at 649 High St. in Old Worthington.
The lounge opens Friday, Nov. 6, in a section of the inn that hadn’t been used since Wolf’s Ridge took over the property. It’s a new direction for the brewery, which has built its reputation around beer but is bringing that same interest in creativity and craft to a cocktail menu.

The drinks include playful takes on familiar classics and some more unexpected combinations. The Cosmo Noir blends stone fruit vodka, cinnamon, cranberry, curaçao and lemon. Persephone’s Kiss combines tequila and mezcal with pomegranate, Fresno chili, Cointreau and lime. And the Bastille Door brings together rye whiskey, sweet potato and spiced bitters.
The food menu has a few standouts of its own. Loaded Pub Chips come topped with aged cheddar beer cheese, smoked bacon and scallions, while Den Meatballs are served with caramelized onion and ale gravy. For dessert, the Sticky Toffee Sundae pairs sticky toffee pudding with Irish whiskey ice cream.

The lounge is designed around cozy seating and a more relaxed atmosphere, giving guests another way to enjoy the historic inn. Draft beer and wine will be available alongside the cocktail menu.
“The Worthington Inn has always been a place for people to come together, and we wanted the Wolf’s Den to build on that tradition,” said Bob Szuter, co-owner of Wolf’s Ridge Brewing. He said the new lounge gives the team another opportunity to bring its creativity and craftsmanship to the property, this time through cocktails.

The Wolf’s Den will be open Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 4 to 10 p.m. Reservations aren’t accepted, so seating is first come, first served. The lounge will also be available for private events Monday through Wednesday. Groups interested in booking the space can contact events@wolfsridgebrewing.com.
